Q What assistance is the government offering to Covid-19 patients and patient-under-investigation (PUI) as well as their families? A PUIs are housed at Institut Sosial Malaysia and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Academy for their comfort and for health workers to monitor them with ease. The Federal Territories Ministry has also provided two health screening centres at the Kuala Lumpur Health Office and at the Pantai Ecopark Community Centre for health workers in Kuala Lumpur to test for Covid-19. The government, through the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP), has also donated ventilator machines to seven hospitals in the Federal Territories, seeing that the machines were badly needed by hospitals for intensive care unit patients. A Families of Covid-19 patients living in Putrajaya can receive a one-off cost of living aid of RM500 per family from Perbadanan Putrajaya.
